How does a MoveBoard integration connect your marketing leads?
MMAI delivers website and call leads into MoveBoard for moving companies, with WhatConverts tracking the inquiries before delivery to the CRM. MoveBoard by Elromco supports a lead API for custom forms and lead providers, plus its own website quote forms. Its quote forms keep Google click IDs and landing pages with leads, but native uploads of lead or booking conversions to Google Ads are not yet available.
How leads reach MoveBoard
Can we keep our website form and send leads to MoveBoard?
MoveBoard's lead API accepts leads from your own form or another system and creates New orders. Get your company's posting address and instructions from Settings > Pricing & calculator > Move Size > For lead providers > Show instructions. The instructions include headers for your company and, if needed, a second branch, a sample lead, and the move-size numbers your connection needs. MoveBoard also offers quote forms installed with a website script and a form tag. Choose the form route before planning tracking, and confirm how your connection will preserve campaign details.
Which move details does our connection need to send?
The API requires an email address or a 10-digit phone number. Send the customer's name, requested move date, move size, pickup and delivery addresses or ZIP codes, provider name, and comments when available. If you send a move type, use RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, or MILITARY. The bedroomSize field uses the numeric Lead # assigned to a move size in your account; renaming or reordering the size keeps that number. Deleting a size makes its old number fall back to your first bedroom size. A missing date defaults to 10 days from today, while an invalid date is rejected. Send the customer's actual requested date so your sales team does not mistake a default for their plans.
How do provider leads reach the right salesperson?
MoveBoard matches the provider name to a configured lead source and locks that source on the order. An unknown provider becomes Other, so confirm the source mapping with MoveBoard before relying on provider reports. Assignment rules send the order to a salesperson, and the team gets a New lead notification. Company and branch details control where an API lead arrives. The API returns the new order number; a repeated lead with the same branch, email, phone, move date, and both ZIP codes gets an already-reported response without another order.
How does MMAI deliver website and call inquiries?
MMAI tracks website forms and calls in WhatConverts, then delivers each lead into MoveBoard through a method the CRM supports. Agree on the contact details and move information your team needs from a phone inquiry before connecting delivery. MoveBoard's lead API requires at least an email address or a 10-digit phone number. Forwarding a lead email does not create an order because MoveBoard does not read lead emails. Ask MMAI to review your website and call lead delivery into MoveBoard.
How results get back to your ads
Which campaign details can MoveBoard keep with a lead?
MoveBoard's own quote forms save a Google click ID when present and the landing page address, including UTM tags. The click-ID priority is gclid, then gbraid, then wbraid. Campaign Performance groups leads by campaign, source and medium, or landing page. The orders export includes a Tracking Campaign URL column, but the click ID is not shown in the order window. Ask MoveBoard how a custom form or routed lead can store and retrieve the click ID and campaign details.
Can MoveBoard report booked moves to Google Ads?
Native lead and booking conversion uploads to Google Ads are not yet available in MoveBoard. Its internal Campaign Performance report shows leads, bookings, and conversion by marketing source and campaign. Every report table can be exported as CSV with the chosen period and filters; you need the Can Export reports permission. A separate Google Ads import needs a way to match the booking to the ad interaction. For Google's GCLID route, enable auto-tagging and keep the case-sensitive click identifier with the prospect. Ask MoveBoard whether an export or another supported data route can supply that identifier and the booking details for each conversion.
Can our quote form send a conversion event to Analytics?
MoveBoard provides a Tracking setting for code that runs when a customer requests a quote on a page carrying its forms. The vendor's instructions allow a conversion snippet from an ads or analytics account and call for a test quote to check that the event was counted. Treat the quote request and a later booked move as separate measurement events. Keep customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, and raw form comments out of Google Analytics events and campaign fields; Google's policy prohibits sending personally identifiable information. Check with MoveBoard how a later booking could reach Analytics before relying on booked-move reporting.
How should we connect call leads to booking reports?
MMAI's call lead delivery brings the inquiry into MoveBoard; reporting the later booking in a call tracking tool needs a separate plan. Agree on how the call record will match the CRM order and which sales milestone counts as booked. MoveBoard's source-based reports show leads and bookings. Ask MoveBoard and your call tracking provider whether they support sending booking updates to WhatConverts and which data the connection needs.
What MoveBoard does not do
- MoveBoard does not read or import forwarded lead emails. Use its documented lead posting route or enter the lead yourself.
- The lead API uses account-specific move-size numbers. Check with MoveBoard which numbers your connection should send; do not assume a bedroom label alone maps the move size.
- MoveBoard does not yet provide native Google Ads lead or booking conversion uploads. Check with MoveBoard whether a supported export can supply the click identifier and booking details needed for a separate import.
- The quote-request tracking code runs on pages carrying MoveBoard forms. Check how your custom form will report its own submissions and how later bookings will reach Google Analytics or WhatConverts.
- Lead Acquisition Costs needs source costs entered by a company admin. Its monthly spend remains the whole source's spend when filters narrow the leads, so check the scope before comparing cost per booking.
FAQs
- Does a MoveBoard integration require its website quote form?
- No. MoveBoard documents a lead API for your own form or another system. Its built-in quote forms offer a separate installation route with documented click-ID capture and quote-request tracking code.
- Does MoveBoard match move sizes by their names?
- The documented API uses the numeric Lead # for each move size in the bedroomSize field. Renaming or reordering a size keeps its number. Get the instructions from your Move Size settings instead of assuming a website label will match.
- Will MoveBoard reject a lead without a move date?
- Its lead API assigns a date 10 days ahead when no date is supplied and rejects an invalid date. It requires at least an email address or a 10-digit phone number. Send the actual requested move date whenever you have it.
- Does delivering a lead also report the booked move to Google Ads?
- No. MoveBoard says native lead and booking conversion uploads to Google Ads are not yet available. A separate import needs the booking matched to the original ad interaction. Confirm the reporting connection separately from lead delivery.
