How does a Chariot integration connect leads to booked moves?

MMAI delivers website and call leads into Chariot for moving companies: WhatConverts tracks the inquiries, and MMAI's lead router sends them through the method Chariot supports. Chariot's lead API accepts source labels, commercial customer details, and interstate job fields. Chariot's separate Ads & Marketing Platform can attribute leads and send booked-job revenue to Google Ads and Meta after setup. Lead delivery, Chariot's marketing features, and any further reporting connection need separate configuration.

How leads reach Chariot

Can we keep our website form and send leads to Chariot?

Chariot's external lead API lets a custom website form create leads. The connection posts JSON to your company's /api/external/lead endpoint using an account ID and authentication token. You can create API credentials under Users > Office Users > API Users and request a demo environment from Chariot. A 200 response means the lead was created; a 4xx response includes an error message. Test the form through to the lead record before relying on delivery, and keep the credentials out of public website code. The API allows up to six requests per minute per user and returns a 429 status code above that limit. Your delivery setup needs to handle busy periods and rate-limit responses.

Which details can we send for commercial and long-distance moves?

The lead API includes a COMMERCIAL customer category, company name, and additional contacts. Its job fields include INTERSTATE and IN_STATE_LONG distance categories. Pickup and drop-off locations can carry addresses, access details, loading-dock parking, and certificate-of-insurance requirements. The API also accepts the requested date, date flexibility, moving, packing, and storage services, plus inventory and notes. Map the information your sales team actually collects for an office relocation or long-distance estimate to these fields. Ask Chariot which values your form must supply, then test the payload before sending live inquiries.

Does Chariot offer its own form or a lead-provider connection?

Chariot offers short and long quote forms that you can embed in your website; you can also link to the hosted long form. The short form has an optional free-text move-details field, and settings let you hide packing and storage services. For Angi leads, Chariot documents a separate setup handled through its support team using your Angi Account ID. Chariot supplies an account-specific API key and destination URL to Angi's integrations team. Other providers need an agreed connection, such as the documented external lead API. Choose the intake route before mapping source labels and tracking, rather than assuming every form and provider uses the same setup.

How does MMAI deliver website and call inquiries to Chariot?

MMAI tracks website forms and calls in WhatConverts, then delivers the leads to Chariot through its lead router. The connection should preserve the inquiry details and source information your sales team needs to follow up. Chariot's lead API provides fields for customer contact details, lead_source, other_source, and job notes; confirm the mapping used by your account's delivery method. Ask MMAI to review your Chariot lead flow, including the website form, call intake, and source labels.

How results get back to your ads

Will a source label tell us which campaign booked a job?

Source labels and ad attribution serve different reporting needs. The lead API lists lead_source and other_source, and its no-code example shows utm_source. Ask Chariot which additional campaign or click-ID fields your connection can use. Chariot's Ads & Marketing Platform uses its website tracking pixel and connected ad accounts to match website forms to marketing sources. Chariot supports attribution for its own forms and other website lead forms. Review a routed lead in your account to confirm that its source and marketing attribution match the inquiry.

Can Chariot send booked-job revenue to Google Ads?

Chariot's Ads & Marketing Platform automatically sends booked-job revenue to Google Ads and Meta as offline conversions. Setup requires Chariot to enable the feature, a connected ad account, and its website tracking pixel. Chariot uses estimated revenue before the move and final revenue from Job Results after completion, sending revenue daily through an event typically called Purchase. Chariot provides this revenue reporting separately from MMAI's inbound lead delivery. Review the conversion action and revenue definition with whoever manages your ads before adding another reporting connection. For a separate Google setup, Google recommends enhanced conversions for leads and directs current and future programmatic offline uploads to the Data Manager API.

Can we report a Chariot booking in Google Analytics?

Ask Chariot whether your account supports a Google Analytics booking connection and what setup it requires. Google Analytics offers a separate event-import route using a CSV that matches its event schema. For web events, the required fields are client_id, measurement_id, and event_name. A custom reporting plan needs to retain the website's Analytics client identifier, match it to the booking, and provide the required event data. Supplied event timestamps must fall within the previous two calendar days plus today. Keep names, email addresses, phone numbers, and personal information from CRM notes out of Analytics imports and campaign fields.

How do calls and booking outcomes connect to our reports?

Chariot's marketing attribution can match Local Services Ads calls and search-ad call extensions to job phone numbers. Calls after an ad click to your website need Dynamic Number Insertion for Chariot's ad attribution. Chariot excludes unpaid or organic calls and leads originating outside your website from that tracking; some ad blockers can also prevent attribution. Keep the WhatConverts call record linked to the Chariot inquiry when planning outcome reporting. Chariot offers webhooks for sending events to connector tools such as Zapier or Make, including a job-booked notification example. Ask Chariot which identifiers and booking details the webhook supplies, and confirm whether your call tracking tool can receive the outcome.

What Chariot does not do

  • Chariot's external lead API creates incoming leads. Ask Chariot which fields your connection can use to preserve campaign details and click identifiers, and how you can retrieve them for reporting.
  • The lead API allows six requests per minute per user. Confirm how your delivery connection handles rate limits and how required fields are validated before a busy lead source goes live.
  • Chariot's Ads & Marketing Platform needs account enablement, ad-account connections, and a website pixel. Its attribution guide excludes unpaid or organic calls and some off-site leads; website ad-call attribution needs Dynamic Number Insertion.
  • Check with Chariot whether Google Analytics booking reporting and outbound WhatConverts outcome delivery are supported for your account. For a custom webhook connection, confirm the available event data and identifiers; enable webhooks with Chariot support if Settings > Webhooks is missing.
